Biological Therapy

Identifying and targeting specific cellular machinery that causes cells to grow abnormally. In most cases, these are growth factors that cause cancerous cells to grow more quickly than normal cells or die less quickly than they should.

By identifying the genetic mutations associated with the tumors, we can often target specific medicines to those abnormalities. Often, these can be oral medicines. Other times, we might need to infuse medicines in a controlled setting.
