Kelsi Rounds, NP

Kelsi Rounds was born and raised in Idaho. She attended Brigham Young University-Idaho where she received her associate’s degree in nursing ASN (2012) and her bachelor’s degree in nursing BSN (2013). She completed her Family Nurse Practitioner degree (MSN) from University of South Alabama (FNP, 2020).  She began working as a FNP in 2021 doing family care and women’s health/preventative medicine. She is board certified by the American Nurses Certification Center (ANCC) and is ACLS/BLS certified.

Before becoming a nurse practitioner, she worked as a RN for 8+ years in various positions at the hospital as well as for a family doctor and home health agency. In 2013 she worked as an oncology/infusion nurse and realized that the field of oncology was her passion. “I enjoy helping improve patients’ lives who are going through the change that comes with being diagnosed with cancer. I believe in educating patients so they feel more comfortable with the care being provided to them.” During her time in oncology she decided that being an FNP was her main goal with the hopes of one day making oncology a lifelong career.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family on their small farm as well as spending time outdoors and cooking.
