Rebecca Vaughn, PA-C
Rebecca Vaughn was born in Sunnyvale, CA, and raised predominantly in Seattle, WA. She attended BYU-Idaho, where she served as a tutor, mentor, and teaching assistant. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in Psychology. Following her graduation, Rebecca worked as an adjunct professor of anatomy and physiology at BYU-Idaho. She then went on to PA school at Weber State University in Ogden, UT, where she served as the class president of the inaugural cohort.
Rebecca developed a passion for oncology during her clinical training at Huntsman Cancer Hospital in Salt Lake City Utah, where she worked with patients undergoing bone marrow transplants. Rebecca values the meaningful relationships formed in oncology and feels honored to support patients through some of their most challenging experiences. She feels fulfilled working together with her patients to relieve suffering and increase quality and quantity of life.
In her free time, Rebecca enjoys teaching, reading, rollerblading, hiking, and spending time her husband and son. She is board certified through the NCCPA and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA), Utah Academy of Physician Associates (UAPA), and an inducted member of the National Society of Leadership and Success.
